My impression on this 20060730 is that whatever good the internet has been at Katrina Relief is eclipsed by the wholescale corruption in the administration of the government programs skewed to pushing up the worth of the smallest number (crudely called welfare for the rich) and the apparent intent to use national disaster to assist in denegrification of New Orleans. Technology is fine, but how are we going to deal with race and corruption?
